Norconex began as a search integrator working across every major platform, not tied to any one vendor. That work led us to build our own open-source crawlers, which are now used well beyond the projects that first inspired them. Today, the same crawlers feed the data pipelines behind AI and RAG projects — a natural next step for a team that has spent 15+ years turning messy, scattered content into something people can search and trust.
Based in Canada's National Capital Region, we're a small, hands-on team — no outsourcing, and the people you talk to are the people who do the work.
